Dr. Kim has been teaching voice privately for over 25 years in the United States and South Korea. Her former students have gone to the Juilliard School of Music, Manhattan School of Music, Mannes School of Music, Seoul National University, and Ewha Womans University in South Korea. She also prepared for the recitals at the Temple University and Manhattan School of Music. At the Curtis Institute of Music and Rutgers University, she taught studio lessons for majors/minors/non-music major students. In addition, she was involved with teaching at the outreach program at Chautauqua Music Program in NY.
In particular, Dr. Kim is enthusiastic about teaching young kids from her own experiences and has been holding the Summer Vocal Camp for the Youth in South New Jersey since 2016. She has been also a pretty active voice teacher in Korea by being invited to hold master classes at the prestigious Seoul Arts High School and Sunwha Arts High School. In addition, with her background in music education, she was selected to be a substitute teacher at Kayang middle school in Korea when she was a senior in college. Besides voice, she is an experienced choir conductor for both adults and children and has been teaching piano and music theory.
Currently, she is a faculty member at Ocean County College and Rowan College in New Jersey and has a private studio in New Jersey.
